I cannot use sampeconfig.sh on FreeBSd because it contains references to
utilities which are not available as packaged software for FreeBSD. I did
however read the source and obtained some insight into how things are meant to
work.

I have sorted out the key pass phrase issue for now and have the essential
openxpki set up for our realm.

Now I am looking into the webui. FreeBSD conventions for apache24 differ
greatly from that of Debian Linux and the like. Therefore, each configuration
file and path has to be manually checked and altered to suit. The FreeBSD
packager did not get that deeply into the weeds when porting openxpki to
FreeBSD. But that should be trivial to rectify.

No doubt I will have many more questions when I get to the point of actually
issuing signed certificates.

Thank you,
