I wish to enter custom notbefore / notafter dates. Our practice to use the ISO
8601 format of YYYYMMDDThh:mm:ss-hh:mm using a 24 hour clock and a +/- timezone
offset instead of names. The Edit Validity page says that all times are UTC,
which is fine. It also expects a AM/PM indicated 12 hour time which we can live
with. And the date order is arbitrary so likewise we can live with that.

However it also says:

Use the calendar 'OR' enter the notbefore date in the format DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM.
If you omit daytime, midnight is assumed. To reset the date to auto, clear the
field or type 0. All dates are handled in UTC timezone!

However, the format never becomes an issue because I cannot enter a custom date
directly into the field. When I place the mouse cursor over the field instead
of a vertical bar for text input I get a selector hand icon and the calendar
pop-up immediately appears. I cannot directly enter anything in the text box.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?

P.S.
Related, if there is a possibility of making a feature request then I would
like to ask for an option, somewhere, to allow date and time entry and display
using ISO 8601. We switched to that standard for all our software and internal
communications some decades ago due to the confusion that frequently results
from the differing short form date order used by the USA and Canada.

Thanks,
