Hi Andreas,
buildconfig compiles the current configuration into a single blob and
there is also an option to use signatures to protect it. But to be
honest we had invented this for a customer project some time ago but it
never went live anywhere, it is also not part any testing and nothing
which should be considered "stable" for now. It will very likely be
dropped (or replaced) with the current rework of the command line and
configuration interface which was planned to be available with on of the
next releases.
