Thanks for raising this bug on the issue tracker. We normally do not delete 
certificates from the database, so we did not notice there was a problem.
Looks like the older openxpkiadm code was not properly updated to reflect more 
recent changes in the internal API. We will address this in one of the next 
releases.

In the absence of a working certificate remove command you can delete the 
artifact from the database via SQL.
