Hi Florian,

you have to change the workflow and replace the subject rendering step by an activity step to copy csr_subject to cert_subject. Be warned that this will also disable the validation of the components which is otherwise done in the background.

Hi Oliver,

Thank you for your help on that. I temporarily solved my problem by formatting
the block into a single line.
Is there any way for just passing the subject from CSR without format
adjustments into the finished cert?

Kind regards
Florian

Hi Florian,

as this GH issue is really nicely formatted an really a bug, I dont mind this
time but yes in general the first place for questions is this ML :)

I already put a comment in the ticket, the problem is caused by folding of the multiline
YAML config in the "advanced style" profile template.

Hey there,

First of all, thank you for providing such an awesome tool.

I am experiencing problems when signing an externally created csr in the web ui.
While not present in the uploaded csr file, there are spaces (sometimes
multiple or single ones) added into the subject in the downloaded cert file as
well as in the web ui without adjusting any fields of the subject in the web ui.

I already opened an issue with more information on GH. Unfortunately, I read
the hint for the mailing list afterwards.

Kind regards
