Hi,

It seems that your “old” credentials file had a problem in the AUTH_URL and
check_os failed to parse the IP and Port. We are working on making that
connectivity check more robust for the coming release.

Thanks,
Jose

[Danube][Functest][Apex][Nosdn-nofeature-ha] Functest docker fails

Hi Wang,

Thank you for instruction. It works now for me after deleting the creds file.
Could you provide more information about the scenario of this fail when
sourcing openstack.creds on docker container? Why after sourcing that file and
env fails when preparing?

Br,

Tuan/Nokia

Hi Tuan,

1) The step of “source $creds” is not essential for cli “functest env prepare”,
because “functest env prepare” will try to fetch the overcloudrc automatically
and source it before running check_os.sh.

2) Could you please delete the file “openstack.creds” first, and then rerun the
cli “functest env prepare”.

Please have a try and tell me if it still does not work.

Thank you.
Linda Wang

Sure, please provide that info and make sure you have connectivity from the
jumphost to the admin (api) network of your Apex deployment.

Thanks,
Jose

Functest docker fails

Hi Jose,

I will access to the lab tomorrow for more information, e.g. docker image tag,
log file, etc.

As i remember well, the error happens when running check_os.sh. I use the
creds of overcloud, all the checks before check_os run well. It seemed like it
failed when trying to authenticate with keystone through auth_url that is
provided within overcloud creds.

Hi Tuan,

Are you using latest tag of the docker image? We are currently working on
refactoring some code at the moment, so we can take action to solve that. Could
you provide more console logs?

In the meantime, you can use danube.1.0 instead of latest.

Thanks,
Jose

Functest docker fails

Hi,

When i run "functest prepare env" , it raises an error:

The request you have made requires authentication. (HTTP 401)

I source the $cred before that. Does any one know about this problem in
functest.

Br,

Tuan/Nokia
