Hi Bryan

I’d like to continue the discussion about this info during the dovetail weekly
meeting

”#info<https://www.irccloud.com/#!/ircs://irc.freenode.net:6697/%23info> my
main comments are let's don't do extra effort. let's reference the tests that
will specifically be used (by hyperlink) and pput test step details in the
tests as self-documentation. Let's include in the dovetail doc the specific
criteria that validates success for the particular feature.”

Do you suggest that we should focus on the test criteria in the doc, and people
may dig into the code to check the test steps?
I agree to that the test criteria can be improved more accurate, but the test
steps are still needed for that’s more brief and clear to understand the test
case.

The code is not human-friendly, especially for those people who do not familiar
with the program language or the code framework

And if we do that on HA, then the structure of this doc is different from
VPN/IPV6/..., we may need to either modify the description of other test suites
or keep the difference.

I am not sure whether i fully understand your point, so expect your reply

BR

Leo Wang
