Hey Trinath,

I have good news! I looks like I have tacker working for the aio flavor in xci
:D

I am using:

Releng master.
This fork of OSA: https://github.com/manuelbuil/openstack-ansible
This tacker role: https://github.com/jrametta/openstack-ansible-os_tacker

We should aim to bring that role to OSA upstream but it requires some polishing
and I am so far unable to contact the owner of that repo. He might be on PTO
though...

Regards,
Manuel

Hi Manuel-

I think, we need a separate repo for this. Like roles repos at
http://git.openstack.org/cgit/?q=openstack-ansible

Can you share the necessary steps required to build this? Also,
openstack-ansible must also be updated.

Comments ?

Thanks,
Trinath Somanchi.

Hi Trinath,

I have been talking to Juan and we think that it would be great if you help
with tacker and as you have experience with it, probably you will be able to do
it very quickly. Starting next week I want to focus on openstack-ansible too,
so if I could help you in any way, please tell me.

If possible, we would like to have a first version of tacker running with
openstack-ansible by mid-June, so that we have some room to test and fix bugs
which might appear when integrating everything. Do you think you could have the
time to do it?

Thanks,
Manuel

I see that there is no active work on this,

If there is no active contribution at OSA at Tacker front, I can take up this
task.

Please let me know the timelines to accomplish this task.

I’m Currently working on Tacker, http://stackalytics.com/?module=tacker-group

Thanks,
Trinath Somanchi.

Hi,

About tacker support for osa; there is a blueprint for this already which we
can try to find out the latest status and work with the osa community in order
to move it forward.

Hello,

As we talked today in our weekly meeting, there are some tasks that need to be
in place to have a working environment. These are the ones that come to my mind
right now, feel free to reply and discuss anything else that you find necessary.

 - Install ODL with OSA (Juan)
 - Install Tacker with OSA
 - Add support for NSH in OpenVSwitch
 - Install VPP with OSA?
 - Add support to utilities in the same way as we had with Fuel (SSH, access to
controller/computes...)

If you think that you can help with any of this tasks, please reply to this
email to keep the team informed.

Regards,
Juan
