I also have some questions on the scope and goal of this initiative – most specifically targeted at the data plane. Is there more information about how vsperf would be used in that setup? It would be great to have a meeting on it at the plugfest next week.

The scope of what you described in the slides seems very broad. I have missed all the Testperf meetings so far this month due to travel, F2F meetings, and US Thanksgiving.
