Hi Ray,

Do you have any more specifics about the 2 rooms available for the still
unscheduled break out sessions (“in room Lou Feliz or another hacking area on
the 6th floor”) – such as capacity, size, number of tables, table disposition
etc…?
I think it would be best if the still unscheduled break out sessions also
publish their location and start time.
If the Lou Feliz room can be used for unscheduled break out sessions at
reserved time slots (for those sessions that prefer a room) and same for K-town
on Tuesday morning after 10am, that will allow us to have a more organized
second track.
If that works perhaps we can create another table for this second track and let
break out leaders place their session at their preferred time?
I’d be the first to reserve one slot for DP benchmarking as we’re getting quite
a number of topics to cover with more people interested.

It would also be great if these sessions could be published somewhere to
attract people who might be interested to attend (or sent to all attendees of
the dev forum).

Thanks

  Alec

Subject: [opnfv-tech-discuss] OPNFV Breakout during LFN Developer Forum

All:

I didn't have the time to provide an update on the TSC call yesterday, so
wanted to give an update over email. First of all, the LFN plenary sessions
schedule on Monday morning is available at
https://wiki.lfnetworking.org/display/LN/LFN+Developer+Forum+Schedule (this
should also be reflected in the conference schedule shortly).

After the plenary sessions, fd.io/ODL/ONAP/OPNFV<http://fd.io/ODL/ONAP/OPNFV>
communities will have breakout sessions starting Monday afternoon. You'll see
the OPNFV Breakout schedule at
https://wiki.lfnetworking.org/display/LN/OPNFV+Breakout+at+LFN+Developer+Forum

Most of the breakout session proposals were for project team meetings/hacking,
and project teams can self-organize those sessions either on Monday or Tuesday.
On Monday, I scheduled all the presentation/group discussion topics in our
breakout room (K-Town). So if you want to have a project team session on
Monday, you'll be able to do them in a couple of hacking areas nearby.

On Tuesday, besides the re-scheduled TSC meeting at 9am Pacific Time, there
will be no other formal sessions in the OPNFV room and thus can be used for
multiple project team discussions/hacking.

Let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to seeing many of you
in LA in a few weeks!

Thanks,

Ray
