Thank you all for attending the technical discussion today. Today, we discussed 2 new project proposals and one Proposal for Test Framework<http://testresults.opnfv.org/functest/gates/> by Cedric Ollivier<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/~ollivier>. - Capstone<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/PROJ/Capstone> by Jing Lu<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/~JingLu5> - Edge Cloud<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/PROJ/Edge+cloud> by Qiao Fu<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/~fuqiao> Through the discussion, because Capstone<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/PROJ/Capstone> only has one committer, it was suggested that the project do their best to get more community support before it is brought to TSC. On the other hand, Qiao Fu<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/~fuqiao> did a great job in articulating Edge Cloud<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/PROJ/Edge+cloud> very well, including a survey of relevant projects within OPNFV that demonstrates the gaps and the need of the Edge Cloud project to design a reference platform for edge cloud. The picture and plan of collaboration with upstream projects was also very well presented. Because of the maturity of this proposal, the group achieved consensus to recommend this project proposal Edge Cloud<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/PROJ/Edge+cloud> for TSC creation review next week. Tim will put it on the agenda. We then discussed a Proposal for Test Framework<http://testresults.opnfv.org/functest/gates/> by Cedric Ollivier<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/~ollivier>. Cedric reviewed current status of testing gating, and how “Verify -1” is triggered today. He then gave a proposal that can be implemented by FuncTest. In order to implement the proposal, one server (e.g. VM) is needed for minimum configuration of functional gating, and resources to implement it in FuncTest. Tim suggested to reach out to lab owners. Cedric will bring it to Pharos WG discussion, and start from there. Cedric will come back to community discussion regarding the status after asking for help from Pharos WG.
