Congratulations to our 2018-2019 TSC! This is our first fully elected TSC,
and our first TSC to start within the LFN Umbrella. You all represent a
historic moment for us as a project, and I look forward to your energy and
thoughtfulness and advocacy in this coming year. I want to express my
appreciation to everyone who was nominated -- you were acknowledged because
of your deep and important contributions.

We have a lot of hard and interesting work before us -- Edge and Cloud
Native are new areas in which we have the opportunity to provide serious
contributions. We have a re-positioning pivot with respect to elevating and
highlighting our testing work. And as we move to cloud native, we have a
challenge to figure out how to bring our hard-fought understanding of CI/CD
to a wide range of communities.

There is a great deal of work to be done, but this work is even possible to
conceive because of the strength and dedication and collaboration that each
and every member of this community has given over the past 4 years. We are
the under-acknowledged workhouse of open source networking, and I have been
hearing more and more the recognition that we're the stealth secret weapon.
We have the opportunity to enable everyone to move into the next generation
of impact on the transformation of our global networks.

Let's go make this happen. I personally and professionally find great joy
in this project and community. I look forward to building relationships
with our new leadership, and enabling you to manifest our ecosystem's
future.

Cheers,
Heather
