Hi All, I will be stepping down as PTL of Barometer after the release of 7.0. I have enjoyed working with the great OPNFV / Barometer community as PTL and hope we have accomplished most of what we set out to do over the past two releases. It has been a pleasure speaking with members of the Telco community outside of OPNFV and have them mention the use of Barometer. Thank you to all of the Barometer community who worked very hard on the Fraser and Gambia releases and those that helped promote Barometer.
I would like to open the (self-)nomination process for the next PTL. The nomination process will last for 2 weeks. After the nomination process, we will follow OPNFV election guidelines (if I can figure them out ;). Nomination is open to all Barometer contributors. I would like to kick off this process by nominating Matthias Runge as the next PTL. While Matthias is relatively new to Barometer, he has been active in the collectd community for some time and I believe he possess the organizational and leadership skills necessary for the position.
