Hello community,
Thank you all for attending Airship Installer Project Kick off Meeting today.
Here is the summary of the discussion:
* All agreed to current meeting time 6am PT Thursdays.
* All agreed to biweekly cadence of meeting.
* Initial goal is to get Airship deployed manually and proof out everything
in one or more community labs
* Currently Intel lab and Spirent lab have signed up.
* More community labs are very welcome.
* Three JIRA
issues<https://jira.opnfv.org/projects/AIRSHIP/issues/AIRSHIP-1?filter=allopenissues>
have been created
* Team started to work on
AIRSHIP-3<https://jira.opnfv.org/browse/AIRSHIP-3> to gather all the details
from hardware and networking in lab
* Actions:
* Kaspars Skels<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/~kasparsskels> will
prepare a deep dive of hardware topology diagram, how it describes Intel lab
topology and other technical details of how to deploy Airship.
* The deep dive will be shared in the next meeting (or later
depending on how the work goes)
* Georg Kunz<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/~georgkunz> will look into
gap analysis between CNTT specs and Airship 1.0 features, when CNTT specs is
stable
* The gap analysis will serve as our input to upstream Airship
community, and communicate and coordinate the evolution of upstream Airship work
* Depending on the gap and feedback from upstream Airship community,
we will decide the best course of action to support CNTT goal
