Hello community,

Thank you all for attending the weekly technical discussion today.

Today, we discussed the topic of "Role, Responsibility and Expectation of LFN
Infra Support for Issues in Community Labs". Trevor
Cooper<https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/~trev> gave an example of the issue.
@Jack Morgan<mailto:[email protected]> summarized that there are 4 issues:

  1. Lab support issue (who will do what)
  2.  Current community lab status
  3. Future of Community Labs (e.g. Infra evolution, other future change to
the lab when CNTT joins OPNFV, etc.)
  4. Open credentials (e.g. Jenkins slave) to community

Through discussion, those issues will be taken care of in the following ways:

  *   To address Issue #1:
     *   @Trevor Bramwell<mailto:[email protected]> will organize a
training session for community
     *   @Trevor Bramwell<mailto:[email protected]> and @Jack
Morgan<mailto:[email protected]> will revive OPNFV Infra WG to document those gaps
of lab support and proposed process of where to escalate, and who will do what
etc.
  *   To address Issue #2
     * @Jack Morgan<mailto:[email protected]> will lead OPNFV Pharos Project to
assess current lab status so that the community lab information will be up to
date
  *   To address Issue #3
     *   @Trevor Bramwell<mailto:[email protected]> has been
participating in TAC Infra WG on behalf of OPNFV
     *   Both @Trevor Bramwell<mailto:[email protected]> and @Jack
Morgan<mailto:[email protected]> will represent OPNFV in TAC Infra WG. They will
bring back the guidelines from TAC, clarity of decisions that OPNFV TSC needs
to make in terms of CI evolution, cloud-based CI/CD etc.
  *   To address Issue #4:
     *   @Jack Morgan<mailto:[email protected]> and @Trevor
Bramwell<mailto:[email protected]> will bring the topic of "open
credential to community" in TAC Infra WG meeting on Friday, because it involves
other communities such as ODL and ONAP, etc.

We will see how it goes after those actions are taken, and follow up with
additional actions as necessary.

For details of discussion today, please refer to the meeting minutes page [1],
which includes attendees list and IRC log [2].

We are also looking for discussion topics / agenda items for next week's
technical discussion on October 21st. If you have any topic, please let me know.

Thank you

Bin
