To all Recreation Departments,
The Challenge Has been Set. Who will be the last Recreation
Department Standing. The Bexley Recreation Department has already stepped
to the plate as has the Gahanna Recreation Department (Tony, how is the old arm)
and they are ready to take on all contenders. John Brennen, we
are still waiting on a team from Hilliard Recreation to represent.
This invitation is not limited to the greater Columbus Area. We want all
Ohio Parks and Recreation Association to get involved. Wayne Roberts, I
know Columbus Parks and Recreation Department can throw a mean
dodgeball.
Remember, this dodgeball tournament event takes place on Saturday,
June 18 and the net proceeds will go to benefit two autism foundations, the CCDE
and the NAAR. We will also be collecting food items for the Mid-Ohio
Food Bank. There will be a number of great prizes provided by the Mid-Ohio
food Bank to be given out to the participants.
