Hello everyone I am currently trying to get JSF to resolve a CDI-bean provided by Pax-CDI from the page (EL-Expression). I know that there is a ticket for this [1] but there is also a sample [2] in Pax-CDI which does exactly this (though I don't know if that sample ever worked).
At the moment I am working around this issue, by using @ManagedBeans in my xhtml which delegates to a CDI-bean. Unfortunately this does not work for beans imported from other bundles. Since Pax-CDI is also scanning classes from imported packages I have to resolve the CDI-bean directly from my xhtml. I've spent some time last Friday figuring out how the EL-Resolver is managed in Pax-Web but without success. I probably have to educate myself with the osgi-enterprise-spec first. With a new RC of Pax-CDI imminent, I would like to emphasize on this feature/bug, hoping that it will be included/fixed in a final release. regards Marc [1] https://ops4j1.jira.com/browse/PAXCDI-210 [2] https://github.com/ops4j/org.ops4j.pax.cdi/blob/master/pax-cdi-samples/pax-cdi-sample4-jsf/src/main/webapp/poll.xhtml#L18 -- -- ------------------ OPS4J - http://www.ops4j.org - [email protected] --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OPS4J" group.
