It seems that this is all about a Atlassian design flaw. Arunan is participating with the same email address in two Jira instances, and I bet the single sign-on system they built is struggling with that. I have suggested creating another email address (with forward for convenience), just to circumvent the problem, that is basically not ours to solve.
