And I've now done a write up for both documents, having read both of them and
reviewed the ML traffic, and the like.

I do wonder if they wouldn't be better (for the IESG review) as a single
document.
If you are asking me, yes those two documents should be treated
together. Is this one or two write ups, up to the WG chairs and AD to
decide.
A single document, I don't think so. Let's assume we need to
update/change the YANG module
