1. Registration
    A. Early-Bird Registration - USD 650.00 Pay by Friday, 26 October 2012 UTC

    B. After Early-Bird cutoff - USD 800.00
    C. Full-time Student Registrations - USD 150.00 (with proper ID)
    D. One Day Pass Registration - USD 350.00
    E. Registration Cancellation   
                Cut-off for registration cancellation is Monday,
                29 October 2012 at UTC 24:00.
                Cancellations are subject to a 10% (ten percent)
                cancellation fee if requested by that date and time.
    F. Online Registration and Payment ends Friday, 2 November 2012, 1700 local 
Atlanta time.
    G. On-site Registration starting Sunday, 4 November 2012 at 1100 local 
Atlanta time.

2. Visas & Letters of Invitation:
    Information on Visiting the United States, please visit:

    After you complete the registration process, you can request an electronic 
IETF letter of invitation as well as an electronic Host letter of invitation. 
The registration system also allows for you to request a hard copy IETF letter 
of invitation and a hard copy Host letter of invitation. You may also request 
one at a later time by following the link provided in the confirmation email.

    Please note that the IETF Letter of Invitation may not be sufficient for 
obtaining a visa to enter the United States.

3. Social Event
IETF 85 - Social Event
Where: Georgia Dome
Date: Tuesday, November 6, 2012
Time: 19:00 - 23:00 hours
Cost: $35 USD per person.
Availability: Open to all!!
Host: North American Cable Industry

- The IETF 85 social event will take place on floor of the Georgia Dome, 
including the entire field!!
- Guests will arrive through the inner corridors of the Georgia Dome and 
entering the field through the same breezeway as the Atlanta Falcons on game 
day!!
- Special performance by the Atlanta Drumline, showcasing Atlanta's finest 
young percussionists
- U.S. election coverage will be displayed on the "Jumbotron"
- On-field activities to include: Pop-a-Shot, Electronic Darts, Pool Tables, 
Air Hockey, Table Tennis, Field Goal Kicking and more!!
- Delicious local cuisine to suit a variety of dietary restrictions **menu will 
be posted to the host website soon!**

4.  US Presidential Election

With IETF 85 taking place in the United States, it seems important to note that 
the United States Presidential Election is taking place on Tuesday, November 6, 
which is in the middle of the meeting. Non-US residents may want to keep in 
mind that local media coverage during this time will probably focus on the 
election. US residents who intend to vote in the election should plan 
accordingly.

rules -- including early and absentee voting rules.

5.  Accommodations
    The IETF is holding a block of guest rooms at the Hilton Atlanta, the 
meeting venue.

    Room Rates
    Run of House: Single $189; Double $199
    Executive Level: Single: $229; Double $239
    Room Rates include in room high-speed Internet access. City and State Taxes 
of 15% (applicable taxes are subject to change) are excluded from the guest 
room rate. Room rates DO NOT include daily breakfast.

6.  Companion Program
   If you are traveling with a friend or family member over 18 years of age you
