You can get both check-name and parameters from the web interface (Configuration > Service Checks). By doing that you'll be able to see the performance data returned by the check you're using (that's everything after the pipe). It must adhere to this: http://nagiosplug.sourceforge.net/developer-guidelines.html#AEN201 If it looks good there, then I don't know what's wrong.
