I seem to recall sometime in the past someone mentioned an upcoming Opsview feature where you could do a "real time" check of a Opsview plugin kind of like you can do a "real time" interface query on the snmp tab of the host config screen.
This feature would really come in handy since now we have to apply changes then watch to see if the output is as expected. Well I can do it from the command line but I don't want others playing on the console.. Maybe I just wished I heard of this feature but I was pretty sure I saw it somewhere :<)..
