First of all, why are load average warning set to 5.0 and critical set to 9.0? I have servers with 16 cores, so a load of 10.0 is not critical at all. I also have some dualcores, so a load of 10.0 would be critical there. It should depend the warning upon the amount of cores, so usage = load / cores
Second of all, the promotion code for text messages doesn't seem to be working. It returns ' Promotional Code was invalid' when I enter opsera-1234 at http://www.aql.com/promotional_code.p And third of all, how could I secure the agent to only allow requests from 1 IP? (without iptables if possible). I don't want anyone to be able to read my load averages..
