I¹m relatively new to both Opsview and Nagios as well as monitoring in
general and I¹ve just set up an Opsview box that is, in the main, doing a
really nice job.
I am however running into a few issues with monitoring our Exchange 2003
server and some tests just not working at all. In particular Largest
Delivery Queue Length, Microsoft Exchange Mail Submission and Retry Mailbox
Delivery Queue Length. Output is as follows:
Largest Delivery Queue Length
Status: Unknown
Information: ERROR: \MSExchangeTransport Queues(_total)\Largest Delivery
Queue Length: PdhAddCounter failed: -1073738824: The specified object is not
found on the system.
Microsoft Exchange Mail Submission
Status: Critical
Information: CRITICAL: MSExchangeMailSubmission: not found (critical)
Retry Mailbox Delivery Queue Length
Status: Unknown
Information: ERROR: \MSExchangeTransport Queues(_total)\Largest Delivery
Queue Length: PdhAddCounter failed: -1073738824: The specified object is not
found on the system.
Is this something that¹s designed for more recent versions of Exchange or am
I missing some configuration somewhere?
