Hi, In the mailing list archive I see that there was a decision made to change the syslog logging from INFO to DEBUG. Why was this done? I know that I can stop in in the syslog config, but this has the affect that other devices to I really want to debug can't use my monitoring server.
IMHO no application that is normally running should use debug as a default, debug is for debugging when there are problems. If Opsview uses it to check some state it should do it in a other way. Like to hear you comments. I'm using syslog-ng btw instead of the normal syslog.
