"You can drag and drop hosts on the Monitoring Servers configuration
page between different monitoring slave systems!"

Just a note on that feature, it may work well with a small number of hosts but
with a larger number of hosts navigation on the monitoring page becomes very
difficult so the drag and drop feature would be difficult to use.

Now moving a entire hostgroup to a different slave server might be a useful
feature to consider, maybe have a view much like the server page but have to
ability to move nagios hostgroups between slave servers.

In my case it wouldn't be too useful as my hosts are tied to various remote
networks but I help out with another Opsview installation where they have
multiple slaves servers to distribute the polling load. It their case quickly
moving a hostgroup to a different slaveserver would help them distribute the
checks..

Just an idea.

Glad that worked!

Just a note to say that while we don't recommend changing database
values like this, we don't stop you doing it either.

Going through the UI does some extra bits (such as the uncommitted
flag and logging into the audit log pages) - just to let you know of
those differences.

You can drag and drop hosts on the Monitoring Servers configuration
page between different monitoring slave systems!
