Hi,

Can someone point me to a doc on the proper slave upgrade procedure for CE 3.5? I can only find the initial slave setup docs. Should I run through those again and if so do I need to move devices on the slave back to the master before running the send2slave script?

Slaves are upgraded as part of the master upgrade.

However, we've found an issue where the send2slaves part fails on a slave because of unreadable files on the master.

I've noted it at
http://docs.opsview.org/doku.php?id=opsview-community:upgrading#during_upgrade

Run send2slaves manually for the failing slave. I'm guessing there is a file permission error on the master:

Can you privately send me your /usr/local/nagios/var/status.dat on the master? I think this perl module is having trouble reading your status, so there must be something unexpected about the data here.
