Hello Duncan,

I tried to restore the old dump and it also failed.

So I will take up the second step

Kindly confirm if i am correct

sudo /etc.init.d/opsview stop
sudo /etc.init.d/opsview-web stop

mysql -unagios -p

ysql> show databases;
+--------------------+
Database
+--------------------+
information_schema
opsview
runtime
+--------------------+

drop database runtime;
create  db_runtime db_install;

restart mysql

restart opsview
restart opsview-web

Please confirm  & I am sorry for bothering you.

Thanks,

Sampath.

Hello Duncan,

Thanks for your reply, Yes I followed your instruction and tried to repair the table  under runtime
opsview_hostgroups   and when i check the status I get the following message

If standard MySQL repair commands cannot fix the tables I suggest you restore the database from your latest backup immediately before the corruption.

If this is not possible then you will need recreate the runtime database using 'db_runtime db_install' as nagios

In both cases you should stop opsview and opsview-web  before working on the database.
