I believe it was featured in Linux Magazine recently. Are any of the extra features of benefit ? They state that "...we really hope the Nagios community will take Shinken code and make it the new Nagios reference code." I'm certainly getting pressure from my business as to the scalability of Opsview - but _really_ don't wish to move to another product unless absolutely necessary. Clearly a number of products market themselves as alternatives to Nagios by stating its apparent downfalls and how they solve these.
