Hi, I'm trying to filter notifications using keywords. My end goal is to only have truly important and critical issues hit the pager.
I'm running opsview 3.11.1. I've added the keyword to: - the service checks I'd like to be paged about - the specific host I want to be notified about when those specific services fail I've created a role with the following permissions: - ACTIONSOME - NOTIFYSOME - PASSWORDSAVE - VIEWSOME The role also has access to the keyword. I also have created a contact assigned to this role. The contact has an email address set and a notification profile rule set to send notifications for All via email. I'm able to log in as the user and see only the services I have limited access to. When I test trigger an alert, all other users receive their notifications, but this role limited user does not. I thought the notifysome rules would follow the viewsome rules. Is this not the case? Thanks.
