In /var/log/install.log there should be a listing of errors
encountered during the install of the package. Can you send
those to me and I'll take a look at it?
The first line of the section you want to look at for errors is:
"Tor - Privoxy Bundle Installation Log"
lots of lines later, you should see:
"postflight[21752]: Creating account for _tor..."
The error as to why _tor could not be created should be
right below that line.
