Thank you for the info. However, I would like to set up my own directory server on a real network (PuppeTor is only a simulation). I could not find the source code or the binary where I can compile and deploy my own directory server, where my own Tor ORs will contact.
Any ideas if that is possible? Thanks, Eric On 5/15/07, Karsten Loesing <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

There is an own config option (DirServer) that you can use to override the hardcoded dir servers. If you want to play around with your own directory, you may want to use PuppeTor which was designed to run your own Tor network on a local machine. It manages all the necessary configurations for you. You can download it from the SVN repository. - --Karsten -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGSgKT0M+WPffBEmURAuoSAKCo+CAWAlliBr2SVfZVhs/xAWd0bgCZAVFQ E6Do9iuvjZhn4k7oIJrHBk4= =Kj4B -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
