On occaision I watch this: authenticate "pass" usefeature extended_events usefeature verbose_names setevents stream getinfo stream-status
In the past, this used to display the FQDN as the first thing that traversed a circuit, then the IP thereafter. 1072 SUCCEEDED 24 torproject.org:0 1073 SUCCEEDED 24 38.229.70.10:443 [I may have rememberd the stream, circuit and port numbering wrong, but anyways...] I've noticed lately that it only displays IP's without showing the DNS lookups beforehand. Obviously lookups are still happening. But where did they go in the output?
