Work Location: Water Street - New York Rate Range: * 45/Hour * Estimated Duration: 6 Month Position Description: The project leader will work on assigned project(s) in important areas of the business, working with the segment BPM executive and senior management. Specifically, the Project Lead will: • Partner with Process Owners and Sponsors to apply the Lean Six Sigma methodology to identify & implement improvements to assigned projects. • Help select and lead project teams to successfully execute multiple projects. • Data Collection • Partner with, train and coach process owners and team members, including other classes of project lead candidates, in the Lean Six Sigma methodology. • Ensure appropriate project management reporting. • Act as a change agent to instill a Business Process Management culture. • Execute an effective transition of improvements to business owners. Additional Information: Qualifications • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required. • Minimum 3 years experience implementing Six Sigma projects. • Strong leadership and teaming capability. • Strong facilitation and presentation skills. • Process oriented thinker. • Demonstrated analytical skill set. • Solid interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to effect change across functional lines. • Strong project management and analytical skill set. • Can operate independently and with a track record of delivered results. • Strong business orientation and demonstrated ability to easily work within and across functions. • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus • Must be able to travel and work a flexible schedule as necessary.
