ETL Developer OWB 10.1.0.4 Database 10.1.0.4 Enterprise Edition 1. Addition of new fields to existing tables, version of OWB mandates replacement of table when columns are being added. 2. Adding 5 New tables 3. Work has to be done on Staging area (8) , Warehouse area (1) and Data Mart areas (35) 4. Altering selection logic for 2 different sets of tables (order and invoice) in several mappings in each staging area. 5. Populating the new fields in tables for existing data. 6. Looking for areas to make the process work more in parallel. a. Making data mart loading less dependent on data warehouse contents by using data mart tables that are loaded. i.e. using vnd_info_dmart, organization_dmart and vnd_info_lkup_dmart to populate vendor_info_dmart and putting the process into the background while the overall process continues. 7. Changes to the output file scripts to have new fields and tables. (Both full and incremental output files). These are sql scripts run via korn shell script. 8.
