The position shall:- 1. Conduct joint analysis design (JAD) sessions with key department personnel in conjunction with client’s prime development vendor. 2. Develop business requirements. 3. Develop functional program specification and data models. 4. Oversee and track status of prime vendor's development of electronic programs for the viewing, maintaining, and reporting of education data accessible to Local School Districts via the Internet. 5. Test and debug electronic programs. 6. Coordinate and assist with the development of system and user documentation. 7. Provide training. 8. Provide detail project status reports to client management team.* *Technology and Architecture Infrastructure:- 1. A Single Sign-On (SSO) security module that leverages both Microsoft Active Directory and the Novell Access Manager Authentication and authorization system. 2. A Directory Manager application to jury existing user accounts and allow for the creation of Local Education Agency (LEA) user accounts with role-based access control. Provisioning of accounts and management of some security functions will be delegated to the LEA level. 3. A Logical and Physical N-Tier design, consisting of modular components and sub-components with partitioning of components by defined interfaces and messaging based communications (inter-application and intra-application). 4. Sharepoint Portal Deployment - Client has deployed version 1.0 of their data collection and dissemination portal. The portal is role-based and leverages the Single Sign-On security solution.
