Role : IBM Websphere MQ Engineer Location: Dallas TX (Ft. Worth ) Duration: 6 months plus ** *In person Interview is Must* *Required Skills* : • Experience in engineering and administering IBM MQSeries products (5.3 and above). • Has strong understanding of MQ clustering • Experience with Pub / Sub messaging and Message broker. • Is able to provide 24x7 WebSphere MQ on-call support in an H/A environment Websphere Portal • Has experience working with Security exits ( MQAUSX ) • Can troubleshoot TCP/IP intercommunication within zoned-network architecture • Experience with Veritas Storage Foundation H/A v4.1+(Clustering) to provide an H/A environment. • Prefer experience in Unix and Windows systems administration • Some Unix Shell Scripting • Hardware / Software architecture, design, testing and troubleshooting • Experience working as part of project team and can handle multiple projects simultaneously *Preferred Skills :* • Experience and Support of IBM MQ Series products ( V 5.3 and Above ) • Websphere MQ API • Experience with Applications using the MQ Clients • Working knowledge of J2EE technologies and Websphere Application Server • Java • Unix Scripting and general Unix Administration. *Job details :* The candidate will be a member of the MQ Team that is responsible for the Shared MQ infrastructure and must be a subject matter expert in the IBM WebSphere MQ products. This role will facilitate both infrastructure and customer facing projects. He or she will also be expected to possess in-depth knowledge of multiple technology domains and contribute his or her ideas as part of an Application Infrastructure team.
