- Experience level 7-10 years. - Extensive testing experience on IBM Mainframe platforms. - Understand the application environment and architecture. - Experienced in assessing the business functionality of an app. - Exposure to technologies COBOL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, CICS, JCL, VSAM Well versed with Operating systems IBM-MVS, IBM-VM/ESA, Windows 95/98/2 k/NT, OS/390, Z/OS and UNIX (Shell Scripting, Cron Jobs and administration). - Understanding of COBOL / JCL programs, DB2 Procedures etc. - Knowledge on conducting tests for Mainframe Green Screens, JCL Programs etc. - Have Excellent program debugging skills and make use of Mainframe based debugging tools like Xpeditor, CA-INTERTEST and IBM Debugger. - Assess the types of testing required for the application. - Define the efforts and develop the estimates. - Develop/Reviews manual test cases for functional, GUI, regression, system and integration testing. - Design/develop/scripts using Quick Test Pro. - Usage of quality center for requirements management and test case management. - Upload the test cases into Quality Center. - Create test plan using Quality Center. - Experience in conducting functional, regression, system and integration testing using manual testing methods generate test results. - Log defects into Quality Center generate appropriate test reports and metrics. - Publish senior management reports etc. Location : *NJ/NY* Duration : *Long Term* Rate : *Open* ** *Please reply with your Candidates:* ** Complete Name: Contact No(Primary and Secondary): Email ID: Best time to call: Availability: Current Location: Willing to relocate: Rate: ** Santosh Pillai, *[email protected]* *732 993 6254* ** **--
