Job Description - Lead Software Engineer - J2EE, Websphere and Java
Our Client is currently undertaking multiple enterprise level PeopleSoft
implementations in the HR and Finance areas.We represent development team
which is responsible for product(s) integration with PeopleSoft to meet
project needs.
Deliver application design & code for J2EE Architectures utilizing WebSphere
and J2EE/Web products & frameworks. Deliver Enterprise Service Bus Solutions
for Integrating with Kaiser Permanente's in-house legacy applications with
external Applications & product suites. This role will also involve hands-on
development for some of the key components of the implementation design.
Excellent communication skills and ability to co-ordinate and execute tasks
with other team members is also required.
*Must Have:*
• 8 years+ experience in Technical Architecture, System Analysis and Design,
development and unit testing is a must have. In addition 5-7 years of
experience in the following areas below:
• In-depth hands-on architecture, design & development experience with J2EE,
Java, WebSphere 6.x
• In-depth hands-on architecture, design and development experience with Web
frameworks like Spring, Struts.
• Hands-on experience using unit testing tools like JUnit, HttpUnit and
Selenium.
• Expertise in Oracle 10g, SQL and schema design
• Hands-on development expertise in data access implementation using tools
and frameworks like JDBC, Hibernate, Spring JDBC template
• Expertise in Services Oriented Architecture (SOA). Designed Web Services
using XML, SOAP, WSDL is a must have.
• Expertise in delivering Integration Design for Internet and Intranet
applications is a must have.
• Experience with one or more integration products like WebSphere Message
Broker, MQ and ETL etc.
• Good and in-depth understanding of Websphere application server, Unix and
AIX platform.
• Good communication and analytical skills for doing Solution Design and
Solution Alternate Analysis
• Fit-Gap Analysis and excellent troubleshooting skills are also required
• Good overall broad development and support experience involving Web and
Integration applications are must haves.

*Nice to have:*
• Solution designing for various ERP applications (PeopleSoft preferred) and
optimization
• Expertise in Oracle Database Administration and Sizing 9i and 10g is a
nice to have.
• Expertise in PeopleSoft Enterprise Applications such as FSCM, 8.9, 9.0 CRM
8.9, PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal 8.9, Workflow, Integration Tools,
Enterprise Architecture of PeopleSoft, Mobile Agent and Peoplecode
• Deliver performance tuning solutions for scalability in complex
integration architectures from KP to Non-KP data formats
• Adept at facilitating sessions defining user requirements, developing and
delivering end-user training, creating and maintaining project schedules,
and preparing and presenting project briefings to Executives.
