Sr. Programmer Analyst- Data Location: Ann Arbor MI Duration: 2 months
Our customer needs a consultant who is strong with DB2. SQL, Unix Shellscripting and Java/J2ee. Minimum of 8 years working in a professional IT environment. 3+ years experience with DB2, SQL, Unix Shell Scripting Java/J2EE desired. Have experience working ETL tools. Our customer has a few homegrown java based ETL tools as well as Informatica Experience with data modeling desired ER/Studio or ERwin knowledge a plus Ability to quickly estimate effort and challenge requirements Provide accurate estimates of effort of work and appropriately identify risks, constraints and assumptions Create and conduct unit and integration test plans, test conditions, and expected test results Investigate application and data problems, correct immediate effects and provide long-term solutions Create and maintain appropriate documentation Consistently apply appropriate enterprise methodologies and standards for software development and execution and help to establish department specific standards Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples) Ability to follow programming standards and develop code in a multi-programmer team environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities rapidly Experience in a retail environment highly desired Thanks and Regards, Ram K Vutukuri Pyramid Consulting, Inc.
