Job Description *Oracle DBA with EXADATA /EXALOGIC – 6+ Months – Grand Rapids Michigan* The Senior Database Administrator's key duties and responsibilities include: Responsible for specific database administration functions on distributed, and server platforms within the data center. Provides or supports recommendations for sizing database requirements. Demonstrates a high degree of knowledge on various types of databases. Ensures database administrative policies and procedures are adhered to, updated, and enforced. Supports development of requirements for database design and administration in conjunction with the migration of applications from the development phase to the operational phase. Works directly with users of data to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage. Monitors database usage of resources and recommends changes to data center retention policies. Prepares activity and progress reports regarding database management *Key Skills required: * · *Experience with Exadata and Exalogic is mandatory* · Oracle DBA having minimum of 6-8 years of Implementation , Development and support experience of Oracle E Business Suite or BI products or Oracle Database 11g/12C · Installation, Upgrade and Administration of Oracle E Business Suite/application server/database on multi node RAC environment · Must have experience in Planning and Implementing production upgrades, migrations and patch management on Database and Application Server · Sound knowledge on the hardware requirements and Oracle software configurations and be able to recommend on technical architecture.
