*SAP Solution ArchitectMounds View, MN12+ Month Contract*upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test** ROLE SUMMARY: Responsible for leading technology strategy definition discussion and the development of implementation roadmaps. Key activities include the identification of risks / opportunities with current technical landscape, generating and leading the implementation of overarching platform strategies, directing initiatives to mitigate risk, and assisting with establishing and maintaining a governance model for Company architecture. Working with teams to develop Architecture Definition Documents. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for achieving expected outcomes related to overall architecture and optimizing Company’s investment in the technical landscape. This individual will serve as a representative from the Global Architecture team to review new initiatives and provide architecture guidance and decisions regarding the viability of software components, design and operationalize the IT landscape to optimize platform stability and enhance operations, and participate within the Architecture Review Board and Governance Council to establish and maintain standards. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for designing and delivering solutions that are aligned with business requirements. Partner with Global Infrastructure & Application Services colleagues to evaluate current global needs. Provide architecture expertise, guidance and governance for new initiatives, in order to ensure platform stability, risk management & mitigation, adherence to standards, and optimization of Company’s investment. Deliverables include system architecture diagrams and data flows outlining the connectivity between modules and across platforms. Provide insight and demonstrated knowledge to influence various strategies including; Roadmap development Technical representative providing expertise and deliverables related to vendor solution assessments Advising to support Transport Management Strategy Work with project management and project teams to provide input toward resource requirements, incorporate technical tasks in the overall project plan, and confirm technical scope ensuring fit of requirements into SAP architecture. DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of experience with demonstrated ability within administrative toolsets including Solution Manager, along with SAP application modules ECC6, MDM, APO, CRM, ME, and Portal. 3+ years of experience with ABAP and JAVA administration tools. 2+ years of experience with responsibility for setting and executing toward strategic direction across areas of responsibility. 2+ years implementing key technologies supporting a project strategy. Ability to explain complex technical solutions and architecture strategies to non-technical resources. Advanced degree in Computer Science or business related discipline. Experience as a team lead. Work experience in the Medical Device Industry, or other regulated industry. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively. Excellent facilitation, oral, and written communication skills. Analytical problem solving skills. Proven track record in architecture methods and deliverables including use cases, business process documentation, business context diagrams along with supporting logical and physical deployments. High degree of demonstrated collaboration across business units and IT teams. Demonstrated responsibility for setting, and executing toward, strategic direction across areas of ownership and influence. NICE TO HAVE: Experience working as a SAP Architect with demonstrated experience related to technical toolset assessments to maximize efficiencies and investments, strategy and operationalization of scaling, and blending new toolsets to maintain a viable SAP platform across the Enterprise.
