*Title: Oracle/Golden Gate Database Administrator* *Duration: Long Term Contract Location : West Chester, PA * *Role Oracle and Golden Gate Admin* *Mandatory Technical Skills * Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience as admin Install new versions of Oracle products and configure them per need. Performs ongoing tuning of the database instances. Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases. Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database. Controls migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle. Implements and enforces security for all of the Oracle Databases. Provides technical support to application development teams, work with Oracle if necessary Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects. Create new database users as required. The DBA has ultimate responsibility for the physical database design. Experience and knowledge in migrating code, database changes, data and menus through the various stages of the development life cycle. A DBA should have sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors, systems administrators and other related service providers. Must know to Fix Golden gate infrastructure and data issues.
