Thanks..! *REQUIREMENT:* Role: Storage Engineer Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 6+ Months Responsibilities - Automate any and all operational works related to storage systems - Performance analysis and tuning of storage systems - Build detailed capacity plans for different storage tiers - Measure, monitor and optimize hardware utilization - Build high availability & reliable architecture designs of storage platforms as per business requirements - Document workflows, processes, procedures, configurations and use cases of storage infra - Configure, run and measure load profiles via test automation and scripting - Adhere to and optimize service management principles (change/incident/problem management, CMDB) - PoC new on-perm and cloud based storage systems and solutions to meet short- and long-term roadmap - Establish systems, dashboards and metrics to facilitate a data-driven approach to problem resolution Basic Qualifications - 5 years of solution design and system administration experience of structured and unstructured storage platforms - 3+ years experience designing and architecting large-scale SAN environments (1PB or more) - 3+ years of hands on experience in programming or scripting and automation - 3-5 years’ experience supporting high-performance Linux server configurations (Ubuntu, Debian or equivalent) and storage technologies in a 24x7 enterprise environment - 3 years’ experience working in an ITIL framework or six sigma organization - In-depth knowledge of storage fabrics, RAID technologies, high-end SAN and block storage access/protocols/designs - Experience in fiber channel networks, network attached and various backup storage solutions - Good understanding of public cloud storage services and appliances - Experience in building automation and orchestration engines for storage environments - Experience in Python programming or scripting experience (PowerShell or Pearl etc.) - Experience Capacity planning and performance analysis/tuning of the Storage infrastructures - Experience with management, monitoring & reporting of storage stacks (Like VMWare, Microsoft, EMC, HP, Open Stack etc.) - Familiarity with REST APIs and SNMP usage as well as implementation is desirable - Experience with GIT or similar version control systems and deployment tools like Chef is desired but not mandatory - Experience with data center operations, on-perm backup technologies as well as cloud integrated solutions is highly desirable - Experience in designing storage solutions - Experience with software development life cycle principals - Experience in storage provisioning and de-provisioning, server and storage management - Experience in incident management, on-call engineering Preferred Qualifications - Object Oriented Programming - Database designs - ITIL Certification and/or Technical certifications in any advanced function such as Virtualization, Networking, Operating Systems, Cloud, Security, etc. would be considered beneficial and/or EMC Proven Professional and/or - Red Hat Certified System Administrator Preferred Education Masters in Computer Science Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent Thanks & Regards, Sai Krishna Sr. Technical Recruiter [image: in.linkedin.com/in/saikrishna2/] <http://in.linkedin.com/in/saikrishna2/> ------------------------------ Osair TechnologiesLLC | Desk: 732-692-8139 | Fax 732-289-6076 | [email protected] | 12642, Chapel Road, Suite # 16D , Clifton, VA-20124| ------------------------------ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
