Long Term Contract "Responsibilities: • The Release Manager is a highly visible, leadership position responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing software releases and ad-hoc break-fix production change events. • Effectively communicates software delivery schedules (e.g. code freeze / code lock down / install dates). • Assists with test environment shakeout and readiness; tracks defect resolution and testing progress. • Escalates and troubleshoots defects / issues with partner teams (business analysts, testing teams, environments management, DBAs, WebSphere, etc.). • Serves as a liaison between various technology partner teams to promote timely delivery of working software to production environments. • Creates implementation plans and communicates changes with release delivery dates/times as needed. • Identifies and mitigates risks (promotes collision avoidance during release preparation, planning, and exec Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
