Need Ead, Gc, Usc. *Description:* The Data Analyst will largely be responsible for the assisting the Data Architect in integration of multiple data sources into a single solution that supports analytics and internal/external reporting. The individual will have both technical and business related tasks including requirements gathering, data analysis, data modeling, and support of development teams. This individual will collaborate with technical staff, and business, with the guidance of the Data Architect, to leverage the use of data and data strategy across a full spectrum of business needs. Some development (mostly ETL and SQL) will be required to provide proof of concepts that will assist development, and strategic planning. *Job Function:* Assisting with proof of concepts of data movement, models, and other technical needs identified by the Data Architect. Provide assistance and development project deliverables -- e.g. document, specifications, testing plan, testing scenarios, approvals, and training materials. Provide assistance and development of modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical). Provide required technical support for both project and production related activities. Assure compliance of standards throughout the project lifecycle. Interfaces with the business areas, vendors, technical staff and project teams to drive value, return on investments and innovative solutions. This includes providing alternative solutions, including vendor solution, (e.g. cost benefit analysis, pros/cons of solutions). Other duties as assigned or requested. *Minimum Requirements:* Hands-on SQL experience Hands-on ETL experience Hands-on Data modeling experience (Conceptual, Logical and Physical models) Strong communication skills Knowledge of data warehousing Knowledge of business intelligence Comprehensive expertise in healthcare insurance industry.
