*Client: Zonar Systems* *Role: UI Dev* *Location: Seattle, WA* *Duration: 9+ months* ***Applicants must have a web-based portfolio to be considered for this position* *Job description* *Function: *Responsible for information architecture and web interaction. In this role you will be proactive in influencing the user experience direction, as well as designing innovative solutions. *Essential Tasks and Duties:* · Conduct user research to understand user needs & requirements and to validate design decisions · Work with stakeholders to help refine user requirements, create wireframes, and inform the visual design of web and mobile applications · Create user interface implementation specs for the teams in the form of a UI Specification · Coordinate interface solutions with Program Managers and Product Managers for specific assignments · Work closely with back-end developers to ensure that products are being implemented to spec and to find ways to push the limits of existing technologies *Additional Responsibilities and Duties:* · Follow all company policies and procedures · Perform all other duties as required · Overtime as required · Travel as required to support client’s needs *Knowledge and Skills:* · Strong application design skills, including information architecture, interface design and visual design · Ability to understand and interpret existing site design, mobile design and style guides to inform your work · A solid understanding of designing intuitive application functionality, interaction, web site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation · Highly collaborative, ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects · Experience with storyboarding, user persona development, designing user/process flow diagrams, sketches, wireframes, click-through demos, or prototypes · Present user interface concepts and design approaches clearly and convincingly · Excellent written, oral and diagrammatic communication skills, comfortable working with and presenting to all levels of the organization · Working knowledge of industry standard visual design tools, including but not limited to: Balsamiq, Photoshop, Illustrator *Education:* · Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Interaction Design, related field or equivalent work experience required · MS in Human Factors or Human-Computer Interaction a plus *Experience:* · Minimum of 2 – 5 years of experience designing UI solutions for mobile and\or web products · Experience with task analysis and modeling, navigation systems, contextual inquiry, usability inspection methods, and usability testing preferred · Understanding of Android Human Interface Guidelines a plus Thanks & Regards, Sai Krishna Sr. Technical Recruiter [image: in.linkedin.com/in/saikrishna2/] <http://in.linkedin.com/in/saikrishna2/> ------------------------------ Osair TechnologiesLLC | Desk: 732-692-8139 | Fax 732-289-6076 | [email protected] | 12642, Chapel Road, Suite # 16D , Clifton, VA-20124| ------------------------------ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
