These artifacts must consider the functional requirements along with the COMETS HD data model. The Report Designer must also consider data classifications and data protection. Key skills / role requirements include: - Intermediate understanding of data modeling concepts - Strong understanding of SQL - Experience designing reports on a platform similar to Cognos Strong understanding of DOR data classifications *2.)Batch Designer Role Description (extends General Designer Role)* Batch Designers are responsible for designing batch jobs that perform bulk, scheduled processing logic. Key skills / role requirements include: - Intermediate understanding of batch concepts such as driving queries and job dependencies - Intermediate understanding of data modeling concepts - Strong understanding of SQL - Basic ability to understand MS Project concepts in order to interpret and update the Batch Schedule (as needed) *3.)ETL Designer Role Description (extends General Designer Role)* ETL designers are responsible for designing the mapping of data between the COMETS HD transactional database and the data warehouse to support reporting requirements.
