Position: SR IT Project Manager Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Duration: 2+ months (possible extension) Authorization: USC/GC/EAD/TN We’re looking for an experienced Sr. IT Project Manager to join the IT Quality organization supporting Medical Products including TrackWise 8 infrastructure expansion to support growing load and user base. • *Our ideal candidate has experience planning and managing concurrent projects of varying sizes, and has managed successful implementations of Quality Validated Application systems (Title 21 CFR Part 11)*. • Experience managing infrastructure build activities including performance testing. • Proven track record in leading development teams, and delivering global applications in Quality and/or Manufacturing environment. • Experience managing onshore/offshore project teams comprised of internal and contracted resources. • Demonstrated success in managing projects in a matrixed organization, especially in the *Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry* • Excellent Project Management skill (scope, vendor management, resource management, status reporting, risk and project financials management). • Excellent communication and presentations skills. • Proven experience in project planning, status reporting, steering committee communication, vendor management, issue/risk management, budget management and timely escalation. • Expert in project management/processes and/or SDLC. • Experience with release management, managing implementation and upgrade projects for validated systems • Strong business acumen. Solid presentation skills, oral and written communication skills and teamwork skills. • Strong influencing skills. • Prudent risk taker.
