Job Description:

At least 5 years in an IT Development Engineer role, with at least 2 years
in technical support role

Extensive experience as well as at least 3 years with working with RedHat
or CentOS Linux

At least 2 years in a Web Server Support [Apache/Tomcat] role

Proficient in Getting Tomcat server logs, thread dumps

Proficient in analyzing Network issues, memory issues and Performance
issues of processes in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6 and above

Prior Experience in development and/or support of Java and
Flash/ActionScipt based Web Applications or Products

Proficient at creating support documentation

Experience supporting java-based, 24x7 applications.

Supported internally developed as well as 3rd party application

DB Support [MySQL]

Enterprise Infrastructure Support



Optional Bonus Qualifications

Some background in software development

Technical training on UNIX, Windows platform design and support

Strong working knowledge of scripting languages and programming
methodologies



The overall technology stack that the Support Lead would be supporting
across the products is as given below:

HTML 5/ JS / CSS 3

Java / J2EE – Network I/O, JNDI, JDBC

Spring – Security, MVC, AOP

Hibernate

MySQL

JAX-RX + Web Services (SOAP) for POS integration

Flash Actionscript 2/3 -> 4310 DMP runtime (AS2), Web UI (AS3)

Other skills: RPM Spec, Perl, Tomcat, Apache, Liferay portlets, SVN, Hudson

Mobility - SDK (native, needs C/C++)– android, windows, iOS phone –mongo
DB, Cassandra, Streamer /Report – no Flash
